Disney Cruise Line, that purveyor of maritime magic and joy, has announced its latest itineraries for the summer of 2024, and it's a veritable cornucopia of exciting destinations and experiences for the whole family. Headlining the season is the highly anticipated inaugural voyage to Lighthouse Point, the newest Bahamian destination developed with a deep commitment to conservation at its core. Families will also have the opportunity to explore the Mediterranean, northern Europe, Alaska, and the Caribbean, all while enjoying the unparalleled service, dining, and entertainment that Disney is renowned for.

"Our guests expect only the best from us, and we are thrilled to deliver with these new itineraries," said Sharon Siskie, Senior Vice President and General Manager for DCL. "We can't wait to take families to our newest island destination at Lighthouse Point, as well as offer exciting adventures to Europe, Alaska, and the Caribbean. These Disney Cruise Line sailings provide unique experiences that our guests have come to expect from us, from world-class dining and dazzling entertainment to character encounters and legendary guest service."

Bookings open to the public on March 30, 2023, and families can find more details on the Summer 2024 itineraries page of the Disney Cruise Line website.

In June 2024, the Disney Magic will embark on its inaugural sailing to Lighthouse Point, a vibrant beach retreat on the island of Eleuthera in the Bahamas. Designed with families in mind, the island features the colorful and energetic artistry of the Bahamas and a strong commitment to conservation. The Disney Fantasy will also offer a seven-night inaugural sailing from Port Canaveral, Florida, on June 8, with two stops at Lighthouse Point and one day at Castaway Cay, Disney's island oasis in the Bahamas. A three-night preview cruise on the Disney Magic departing from Fort Lauderdale on June 6 will give guests a sneak peek of Lighthouse Point with limited access to some areas.

Following the inaugural voyage, Lighthouse Point will be a featured port of call on select three-, four-, and five-night sailings to the Bahamas and Caribbean on the Disney Magic out of Fort Lauderdale, with five special departures that include both Disney Cruise Line island destinations.

The summer of 2024 will also see the return of the Disney Dream to the Mediterranean, Greek Isles, British Isles, the Norwegian Fjords, and Iceland. These itineraries will feature a number of new ports of call, including Valencia, Spain; Haugesund, Norway; and Hamburg, Germany, along with three Mediterranean destinations that will return for the first time since 2014: Catania, Italy; Kusadasi, Turkey; and Valletta, Malta. Northern Europe and British Isles sailings will range from three nights to a 12-night voyage that includes the Norwegian fjords, three days in Iceland, and an overnight stay in Reykjavik.

For families looking to explore Alaska, the Disney Wonder will offer five-, seven-, and nine-night sailings from Vancouver, featuring stunning scenery and majestic wildlife in iconic places like Juneau, Skagway, Ketchikan, and glacier viewing along the Stikine Icecap. The Disney Fantasy and Disney Wish will travel to the Bahamas and Caribbean from Port Canaveral, with all sailings featuring a visit to Castaway Cay, Disney's island paradise.

With all these exciting destinations and itineraries on offer, it's no wonder that Disney Cruise Line is a perennial favorite for families seeking adventure, fun, and magic on the high seas.
